about || Well what really needs to be said... Hank Voight had a son (now deceaced) and is widowed.
Hank is the take no prisoners kind and when it comes to family, family is all he has and that includes Erin and Kelly Severide. Hank has a way of dealing with people in his work that most might say is illegal but he prefers to call it a grey area (As he is a good person... mostly). Hank tries to stay on the right side of the law but that doesnt mean he is above bending the rules when they need to be.

friends || Hank’s friends are all in Chicago, he has a short list of them and most of them are the team he used to work with. When it comes to friendships he like to have them but if you cross a line with him unless there’s a good reason there isn’t usually any coming back over it again.

family || Hank has lost half of his family, his son was murdered and he lost his wife though the few people he considers family are Erin his daughter and Kelly Severide. There are a select few others but it takes a lot to get into the family circle with him.

enemies || Now this list, have you got twenty years to spare. In Chicago Hank wasnt exactly the clean cut cop, he has a long list of enemies on both sides of the law so there is plenty of scope for plot lines here.

lovers || Hank hasn’t been the sort to get about town, his one love Camille passed away and there has been no one since her. He finds it hard to move on because the past is where his head has been at. It would take some work but the open possibility is there.
