He scowled, having turned his dress uniform over to the launderettes, hoping to get it ready for the next time he needed to use it. For it had put him in a foul mood wouldn't have covered it. Julien had taken a quick shower, getting the smell of coffee out of his hair before putting on a spare change. His next stop was heading for the surplus, maybe he was being a little optimistic when he was banking on getting a dress uniform that would fit him or if they had one.

Julien also hoped that they didn't inquire into what happened. His face still looked a little red and sore from where the heat had come into contact with his skin but luckily it had cooled enough that it was only a very mild burn. More annoyance than anything that required having to head over to the medics. There was a little embarrassment mixed into the fray as well, as it was not just him that was facing the Colonel - but two other marines had witnessed the event.

Walking into the surplus, he took his time to wander around, checking out the different things that they had in stock.

It had been quite the spectacle at the CO's office earlier, not the welcome he had expected for two officers to behave like that, at least it would never had been accepted in the marines, especially not from superiors. With that behaviour on base who was to say how they'd act on the battlefield.

Without much stuff to do he had gone to his living space and dropped off his seabag. After having sat a bit thinking he decided to have a look around base. On his way he found the surplus, always a fun place to find random things. He hadn't been in there for long looking around before he saw the gunny from earlier, red faced, no doubt from the hot liquid, searching around for something.

Lucien walked up to the man standing in a relaxed stance of attention simply out of respect for man due to his rank. "Quite the welcome Gunny, bit unusual treatment.." he said a bit hesitantly, he didn't really have much reason to approach the Gunny except figuring out if he was alright although no doubt he had seen worse than coffee. "Is it fine?" He asked referring to the red part of his gave.

"Quite the welcome Gunny, bit unusual treatment.."

Julien wheeled himself around to face the Lance corporal, a face that he had seen previous to the event, he nodded in agreement, "Hey, Vinigan. Yes, certainly was quite the wake up call." Julien attempted to keep his voice even, but his emotions snuck through, the anger that brimmed below the composed posture.

"Is it fine?"

"It's healing, luckily, wasn't too hot. But can't say the same for my dress uniform. Had to drop it off at the launderettes," He replied, running a hand through his hair. Julien looked over his shoulder at the person manning the counter, who looked on with a curious expression to the conversation that was happening. "So, here I am looking for a replacement. In case another episode of that event happens again. Heh."

He nodded "Do you think there will be any repercussion? Pretty sure it's against regulation" Lucien spoke thoughtfully before letting out a light sigh, who knew how they worked outside the marines might be allowed in their regulations.

As Julien said he was trying to look for a replacement, Lucien looked at him a bit surprised "Do you think you'll need it before it's clean? Else I think maybe you should go to the Supply corps warehouse? Since they handle uniform distribution.." He noticed the clerk giving him a disapproving look, not that he particularly cared "But who knows you might find something interesting" he offered hoping his advice would help a bit but then again the Gunny was probably here to avoid the odd questions and formulas.

"Other than the unfortunate incident how are you finding it here so far?" he asked curiously even if he knew they hadn't been here for that long.

"Do you think there will be any repercussion? Pretty sure it's against regulation"

Julien shrugged, "Not sure, Vinigan. Don't want to be speaking out of place here, besides, I've just arrived." Talking to another marine had been helping him in the process of filtering his thoughts and keeping him level. "Even so, not sure whether I could do much."

"Do you think you'll need it before it's clean? Else I think maybe you should go to the Supply corps warehouse? Since they handle uniform distribution.."

He hoped not, but there was the whole part of being safe and not sorry, so spares seemed to be the best way to go, "Good idea, I'll check it out next after this place. I hope I won't need it, but I like to be prepared." In case an event as such occurs again.

"Other than the unfortunate incident how are you finding it here so far?"

Julien gave Lucien a small smile, "It's a nice location. Definitely a change of scenery and still trying to figure out how everything works. But, I have not seen much, seeing as I've just arrived today of all things. Quite eventful, eh? How about yourself? How long you've been in Tierney?"
