0524 JTF Command Center Tierney, Tennessee "You have GOT to be shitting me!" Stephanie was trying to brief her XO in a few things for the mission this weekend when she heard her phone go off. Fat chance was she leaving that the people on this base. They were her responsibility. "I want Tierney and its outskirts bordering Knoxville, evacuated immediately. I want birds in their air. I'd rather this son of a bitch be blown up in the sky before it gets a chance to hit us." Stephanie couldn't get anymore far from fine as she started making phone calls to key people to get the JTF moving. She trusted that Strickland had his ducks in a row when it camem to contacting the fighter squadron. She was soon on the phone with NCIS. She wasn't much use on the ground other than barking orders. No, she had to put something into motion as she made phone calls and looked at Strickland from across the table. She pinched the bridge of her nose and spun her phone around so that Strickland could finally see what all her fuss was about. Yeah she probably should have done that sooner but THIS was how she had to find out about things? Yeah, she had to think fast and that didn't really include showing her XO what her phone had been yelling at her about. She'd need to contact Sherman, her family was still out of contact at the moment and she wanted to get out there. Javan wasn't home. Yukki and Angua were older but Aurora and Robert were likely going to be scared out of their minds. Leaving the older kids with the younger ones hardly seemed like a logical conclusion to her. 0524 Flight Center Tierney, Tennessee His mother was calling. It had to be about the warning his cell had received. Maybe the cellphone company had gone awry or something. Madison and Meghan were his first two immediate concerns. He knew that if his mom was calling this couldn't be some kind of practical joke. He felt his jaw drop as he answered the phone. Right they would be evacuating people to shelters. No wait, Madi was in Charleston today. It only made him feel a little better but he still had other things to worry about like his crazy co-pilot. As Zach hung up the phone with his mom he grabbed his helmet. "Come on egg brain. Time to go save the world." He called. If this really was a thing he was pretty sure she'd be trying to make sure her kid was safe but he knew that someone else would have to handle things. Right now it was his job to watch out for her. Zach grabbed her by the arm and practically dragged her to their helo. Orders were orders. Tag: Lt. Meghan Harris

0524 Flight Center Tierney, Tennessee This had to be some kind of practical joke right? Well if it wasn't a practical joke she would know soon enough when she heard from the XO of the JTF because that's where her orders usually came down from. Liz looked across the table at Carl and rolled her eyes. "Who in the hell wants to try and bomb Tennessee? I mean come on, there is lots of high populated areas to aim a missile. This can't really be a thing can it?" What if it was though. Lizzie had always been really careful about covering her worry with her curiosity and smart remarks and innocent attitude, but that was far from the woman who she could be deep down. Malachi would get he and the children safe. If there was anyone she trusted the most it was him. Though she had to keep a clear head, if she clouded her head with worry and this turned out to be the real thing she couldn't fly all teary eyed and worried. Getting distracted is how things would go wrong. No, wait she was getting ahead of herself. This was a practical joke right? Tag: Lt. Col Maxwell Strickland Maj. Carlisle O'Callahan

0524 JTF Command Center Tierney, TennesseeThe day had started early, Max had even managed to clock a good time on his run before making his way into the command center for the briefing in regards to what mission they had planned for the weekend ahead for the JTF. His hands were planted on either side of the table, glancing down at the paperwork in front of him as well as focusing on Stephanie as he listened. "You have GOT to be shitting me!" That was when shit had begun rolling down hill at an incredible pace. "I want Tierney and its outskirts bordering Knoxville, evacuated immediately. I want birds in their air. I'd rather this son of a bitch be blown up in the sky before it gets a chance to hit us."The phone screen had been turned around for him to read what had sent the CO into such a tail-spin. A cold chill ran down his spine. Max finally nodded. He moved with haste, yanking his own phone out of its receiver and speed-dialing the flight center. He needed this relayed. Of course, they had been given the heads up as soon as it had occurred but everything they did on the ground probably was not enough to beat a missile. He hated the limited information but that was not his worry at this current moment - he had his job. "Patch me through-- no, formalities aside right now. Prep the birds and the jets for immediate take-off. Run through the necessaries, make sure they're armed. Make it happen right fucking now. We want that missile dealt with in the air."Once the phone call had been made, Max still found himself standing, though his posture was albeit more tense - there was a nervous smirk that was creeping onto the corners of his lips as his hand still remained on the phone. Sherman had been in the room as well when the call had come in, finding himself in the command center helping with overseeing the evac teams. Initially, he had frowned at the fact of Stephanie's orders to Strickland but it all made sense once he had caught a glimpse of the message that had been shown to the XO. 0524 Flight Center Tierney, TennesseeWaiting to be put up in the air was something of a itch that needed scratching. He could feel his body pumping through the adrenaline, he could feel the nerves that came with knowing that a missile strike was about to happen. Carl glanced back at Elizabeth, finding himself at a lost to what he wanted to say. It was them that found themselves the target. Through his years, he had been out there flushing out extremists and yet, this was the day that they faced karma. Carl was nervous, this had become his home over the last few months of being stationed in Tierney and with the 600th Fighter Squadron. He wanted to be active, he wanted to do something about their situation; even being up in the air felt better than sitting around in the flight center whilst the ground-crew sorted out their modified F-22s. "Someone who clearly thinks that we're a big target. Or just can't aim for shit."Tag:: Col. Stephanie Huntley, Lt. Col. Elizabeth Dovev
