Jay's eyes flickered as Ruzek asked if he was still good to shoot, saying that he could help him to the Control Room and not to argue cause he wasn't leaving him behind. Damn. Gonna get him killed, he thought. But honestly, he was too tired to argue. Okay, that was probably just the blood loss, but...yeah. "Yeah, yeah I can still shoot," he assured. "Still say your best bet's leaving me here though," he commented. That wasn't arguing per se. He was just stating facts. He had a gunshot wound to the leg. He couldn't move fast and the major needed to be able to move swiftly to take care of these guys.
He then moved with Ruzek, trying to stay focused as they headed for the control room. He was vaguely aware of talking, but he couldn't get himself to concentrate. It was all he could do to keep moving. He was leaving a blood trail. He was putting them both at risk. Maybe if he just rested a minute....No! He had to make it to the Control Room at least. He gritted his teeth and then continued on his way.
He was vaguely aware of Ruzek asking if it was safe to enter, but if there was an answer, he didn't hear it. The darkness was looking pretty good right about now. Yeah, the darkness was his friend....
OOC And yeah, Jay's out now. Maybe him fading out so fast is unrealistic, but I figured, firefight, movement...it wouldn't bode well.

Osan Airbase, South Korea 0800 Flight line Julien listened in on the cackle of comms, that he was only to disconnect if he had the knowledge in how to. That was an easy distinction; he was a sniper, and though he may have the basics, he would not trust himself enough to not ruin the surrounding area. So, he let it be for the EOD. "Colonel, left the IED. EOD techs are heading down here now, proceeding to evacuate the area."With the airbase already on high alert, it was not a difficult task in letting the news spread of an IED placed on the underside of one of the jets. Controlling the chaos that seemed to have erupted was another thing. Assailants that had arrived could easily use this as a way to blend in with the crowd, he holstered his weapon after EOD had finally secured the perimeter of the jet. "Perimeter is secure, people evacuated. I'm going to make my way back to the control room." He could already feel the sting of the open graze against his head - perhaps it was only a deep superficial graze and nothing more. But, that was for the medics to check him over later. Right now, there were assailants running amok on the airbase. Julien shook his head, clearing the previous fog from it as he continued, eyes scanning everywhere, his whole body on high alert as he walked all the way back to the control room. "It's Foxwell, can I enter?" He called from the door. Tag: Col. Stephanie Huntley, @adamruzek, @vinigan, Sgt. Jay Halstead, @chloenunn, Sp. Agt. Mark Wilson,

Osan Airbase, South Korea 0815 Control RoomOnce Stephanie had everyone in the control room and medics doing their thing, she mentally made a note of who she had to work with at the moment. Ruzek, Wilson, Foxwell seemed like they were well enough to leave. Though someone had to stay here and help the medics. Combat trained medics were one thing but she wasn’t about to leave them to their own devices. All it would take was one of them to turn their backs and a bullet. She made the decision to stay behind. “Ruzek take Wilson and Foxwell go flush out the insurgents. Halstead and I are staying here. There is a field surgeon on the way.” No one had been able to make contact with the chopper. She started to have a bad feeling. Stephanie needed to focus on getting the team out alive; when really there were ten million other things going on in her mind. "Let's move like yesterday"Tag: @adamruzek,@vinigan, Gy Sgt. Osan Airbase, South Korea 0815 Control Room As Adam took in his surroundings in the control room he sighed, this mission was really turning into a disaster. Too many had been injured, including himself, some more seriously than others. He looked at Jay and James with the combat medics before turning back to Stephanie and eyeing her with concern, "You ok?" When the Colonel gave the order to take Wilson and Foxwell and flush out the rest of the insurgents, he turned and looked them over mentally taking note of any injuries that the other men may have. Glancing at Foxwell and the bleeding wound to his head deciding that he looked fit to continue, he pinned him with a look before warning him. "Let's get this straight before we go out there this time, there will be no running off on our own trying to play hero. We stick together unless given orders to do otherwise, understand?" Turning to Wilson and realizing that he knew next to nothing about him he nodded at the man, "It was really hard to hear out there, has anyone heard any word from the chopper crew? I've got a real bad feeling." Adam was extra concerned about the chopper crew because they had all appeared to be fairly young, and he was unsure about their experience in situations like this. Plus there was the fact that there were women on board, not that he didn't believe that women were just as capable as men because he did, but if things went sideways it just complicated things. Adam sighed before speaking again, "Alright Wilson and Foxwell lets go get this done so we can get back here and figure out what the next step is. I'm ready to get back home." Tag: Col. Osan Airbase, South Korea 0815 Control Room Mark was still getting his head around this, since when was being an agent states side much safer than this? He was about to debate his future in getting shot at when he heard the voice of another team member. “Sure Foxwell, let’s add to this party but you missed the fun.” Mark stated still not too sure what fun it was to be pinned in a room with one exit when someone was shot and the boss, well that remained to be seen how she was even doing given what had happened. When everyone was inside things just seemed to happen as he stood there, Ruzek had a promotion and he was now part of a team to flush out insurgents. Vanessa would kill him when he got back he thought as he nodded to Stephanie. “Moving Colonel.” Mark said as he looked to Foxwell and Ruzek, two people he had seen on the flight over here sure but other than that he hadn’t exactly worked with them before. Not that it was an issue but there was something to be said about knowing the people you worked with. Mark listened as Ruzek spoke about running off and playing hero, well something had happened outside of the control room that he didnt know he thought as he looked at Foxwell and the head wound for a moment. “Understood Lt Colonel.” He said in his usual military fashion, he had served a while ago but it never really left him at all. Sure he was navy police now but that didnt change his service years one bit. “You sure you’re okay to do this?” Mark asked as he looked to Foxwell wanting to make sure the guy was alright before they did anything heroic. “I’ve got nothing, was a little busy before but last I heard was your seven in coming and you to report.” He explained as he looked toward Foxwell, “Anything on your end?” Mark was used to landing places where people weren’t exactly pleased to see them but this especially when they were split up was tough going. Radio was one thing but to see that people were alright was entirely another. Mark checked his gun when Ruzek spoke about getting back as he got ready to move. “Home sounds pretty good right now sir.” He said as he took a steady breath. Tag: Sgt. Jay Halstead, Gy Sgt. Chopper Wreck Site 0820
Chloe managed to discretely rummage through her bag and put her hand on her back up weapon, they might be stuck here but that helicopter wasn't making it anywhere near the base if she had anything to do with it. As she heard the chopper warming up she stood with the others taking a moment to check them over for any visible injuries figuring it gave her a good reason to have her hands in her medical bag.
She was fighting a battle within herself because she knew if she succeeded in what she was planning to do then it effectively destroyed any chance of them escaping, and her captors would be none to pleased with her. However if she didn't do it, they still weren't going anywhere and if that chopper landed on base... well she couldn't let that happen.
As she heard the helicopter starting to lift off she waited until it was a good distance off of the ground before taking a deep steadying breath as she pulled her weapon from the bag and fired off several shots in the direction of the pilot. She watched as the helicopter became unsteady in the sky and then plummeted to the ground and burst into flames.
After that everything seemed to happen in a blur, she dropped her gun and keyed up her radio "Oh G-d, someone please hear me. This is Lieutenant Nunn... they have us at the crash site. Our chopper is down.." Before she could say anything else she was grabbed by the hair and the radio was knocked out of her hand.
"You're gonna pay for that lady, they'll never find you." The men grabbed their bags and took all their radios tossing them towards the burning chopper. The man that appeared to be the leader walked over and smacked Chloe so hard that she found herself on the ground again. She sighed and spit blood out of her mouth before she was jerked up from the ground and her hands bound behind her back. "Move. Everyone move." The man yelled before shoving Chloe forward.

"Let's get this straight before we go out there this time, there will be no running off on our own trying to play hero. We stick together unless given orders to do otherwise, understand?"Julien nodded, message had been received loud and clear, "Yes, sir." He turned silent as Ruzek continued to speak, reminding him of the chopper crew who had gone out to help with the crash site, and had yet to make a return with the survivors. "Alright Wilson and Foxwell lets go get this done so we can get back here and figure out what the next step is. I'm ready to get back home."Home sounded good. He did not have anyone waiting for him on the doorstep, welcoming him home from deployment but he certainly thought spending some time with his family would be on the books for certain. He wanted to relax, but his mind did not know how. Though, Mark's voice was a reminder that now was not the time to be thinking about other things - kicking his mind into gear. “You sure you’re okay to do this?”"Little scratch, nothing that won't heal." He commented, fingers feeling the graze. It was starting to clot over now, so, perhaps a butterfly stitch would be all that he needed. Julien began to mag check his pistol, making sure there were still rounds in. He had his rifle and did another quick mag check before nodding that he was ready. “Anything on your end?”"Insurgents may be carrying IEDs, one had been in the midst of planting on by jets before intercepting them. EODs carrying out the defusal as we speak, sir," Julien had adopted a more professional tone. His head was in the game. "Definitely armed and dangerous."Just as he was doing last minute checks before they went after any insurgents, his radio cackled to life. His brow began to furrow with concern as he listened to the message. "Oh G-d, someone please hear me. This is Lieutenant Nunn... they have us at the crash site. Our chopper is down.."Julien did not like the sound of this, it was quickly becoming a hostage situation. He looked to the two other men, his jaw tightening as static filled the sudden silence. "They've taken them hostage," Julien eased the tension out of his jaw with a movement. "How should we proceed on that one? Any other birds we can take out, scout around the area?"Tag: Sgt. As Adam heard the Lieutenant on the radio he grimaced and his stomach sank, this was one of those times when he was going to have to make a really tough decision and some of his crew would probably hate him for it, but it had to be done. He sighed, "No... no more birds right now. Right now we have to protect this base it's the top priority, so we proceed as initially planned and flush out these insurgents. Once we know that the base is secure then we go find our people and bring them home killing anybody and everybody that had anything to do with taking them. "What was their last known location and direction of travel? Foxwell you were the last one out there what can you advise?" Adam listened to the man, "Let's head back up to the flight line and see if we can find where they are converging. Take them all out in one fell swoop, but keep an eye out for explosives." Adam led the way out the door and headed for the flight line. When he got to where the planes were he looked to Foxwell, "Which direction did they go from here?" Following his directions they walked over to an airplane hanger and found where all of the insurgents had gathered. Using hand signals he conveyed that he would take the front door and the other two should head for the back, and wait until they heard a gunshot to come in through the back. Col. Foxwell had guided them in the direction that he believed that the insurgents had gone. To his surprise and mild amusement, it seemed as they had called a mother's meeting in one of the airplane hangars. Julien nodded, heading around to the backdoor with Wilson on his tail as he pressed himself against the wall.
Three. Two. One. Enter.
Julien rushed in with great care to make sure he cleared the room, his rifle shouldered. They had the element of surprise - which again had surprised him if they thought they were safe. He fired methodically as he swept around the room. Thought their odds were against them, the upper hand had brought them the win in the firefight.
"Room clear!" He shouted, kicking an insurgent's gun away for safe measure.
