Osan Airbase, South Korea 0750 Control Room Stephanie was starting to hear the static on the radio. She passed the radio off to James so they could handle the situation. She turned to Mark. "Except the threat we have just landed. No one accounted for the breech by hostiles." She heard something about fire being opened up on base near the other side of base. "Someone make contact with Ruzek and Halstead." There hadn't been a status report in a while and she wanted to find out how this chopper had landed. Two personnel that were going to be front and center once this was all over with. Grabbing the phone she called down to the communications tower. When the phones were down she cursed under her breath. It was a controlled action to not land the radio in the wall. Though Stephanie heard things and she had the ability to differentiate normal sounds from the not so normal sounds of the hallway. "We have company coming." She could hear the systematic blasts going into the rooms along the other rooms. She put a finger to her lips. Focus, Steph. Focus. She loaded her firearm and took cover behind a desk. Stephanie got super low where she couldn't be seen but she could see under the desk itself. Sniper fire wasn't the best idea it would draw attention to the room they were in but it was the only thing she could think of. She just hoped the NCIS agents she was with had more sense than she thought they did. Control Room: Col. Stephanie Huntley, reagan, Sp. Agt. Osan Airbase, South Korea 0750 Flight Deck When the friendlies in the helicopter turned out to be not quite as friendly as they were pretending to be, Adam called out to Jay. "Halstead take cover, and try to take out as many as you can! They're hostiles." The problem being that the flight deck didn't provide much cover for any of them. Adam saw two of them fall as he was heading back towards Jay. He tried to call out on the radio to let everyone know how many hostiles had been on the chopper, but either they weren't hearing him or they were dealing with their own mess. "Seven I repeat Seven hostiles just landed on this chopper... Two down at this point, still taking enemy fire. Two have separated and are headed towards the control room." He tried to at least let them know how many were headed in their direction. As he kept shooting. Adam kept his eyes on Jay and tried to get to him. He felt a bullet graze his shoulder and winced, at this point he couldn't really distinguish friendly fire from enemy as several people had started shouting in other locations. "Halstead! Jay... you got me? Can you hear me? If you can cover me... I'm headed in your direction." When he finally ran up beside Jay he took a moment to catch his breath. "Well that got ugly real quick... how many have you seen go down? He asked while he inspected his shoulder which was oozing blood. "There were seven total, I saw two fall and two were headed towards the control room. Which way did the others go? We're going to have to give chase... we can't let them get too far." Tag: Col. 07:50 Chopper wreck site
It had been quite the day, not what he had been expecting at all when he was transferring to the new base on the medical helicopter. Originally it had seemed pretty straight forward, pack his stuff and go with the helicopter. Now he was hiding in the forest in an overview position of the crash site. He wasn't all sure on the details, the helicopter had been flying as they came under fire and got hit. After they hit the ground he doesn't remember much, just that he had been moved away from the crash site to avoid enemy capture, but he had been out for awhile before he came to.
A lot of things had happened since he came to and had ended in an OP overlooking the crash site from a distance, more than he'd care to mention, not that he had anyone to talk to. It had seemed like a godsend when he spotted the friendly helicopter, finally a chance of being evaced although it was problematic as the area was still crawling with hostiles and he had little way of communicating outside his short wave radio that was having problems.
Not that it mattered much as the helicopter landed and people went to the crash site where they found a wounded man, the pilot. It was the perfect trap, and it also quickly turned into an ambush as you'd expect. He finally got life in his radio and hoped they could hear him at the helicopter "This is Lance Corporal Vinigan, Force Recon, I was on the helicopter that got shot down, I'll be approaching your location from 235 degrees, how copy, over" he knew it wasn't exactly radio procedure but it rarely mattered on short wave as it tended to be for internal comms. Now he just hoped they had heard him as he'd approach from the enemies direction. He let of a couple of shots at some hostiles that had heard him before moved to a secondary location before he'd make the final bound to the friendly helicopter, even if he wondered why it didn't sound ready to move.

Osan Airbase, South Korea 0750 Flight deck
It was often difficult to distinguish enemy from friendly, though, when they began shooting at them, it tended to be a good indication that they weren't friendly forces. He had taken cover before joining in with the shooting, watching in slow motion as two of the enemies had fallen.
"... we can't let them get too far."
Having taken cover behind certainly had not helped in answering the major's question in regards to which way the enemy forces had split off too, though, with two headed to the control room and the other five still with unknown whereabouts. "How would you want to cover this? Five enemies, unknown intentions, they may try to loop around and meet up at the control room, or sabotage important equipment."
Julien had given his piece of thought before mag checking, making sure he would have enough for the inevitable firefight. Experience certainly helped in the situation but when they had been on the backfoot, they needed some serious gameplay to get even.

Osan Airbase, South Korea
0750 Flight Deck
Jay's frown deepened as the chopper landed. The next thing he knew, it was raining bullets. What the ever-lovin' fuck? he thought to himself. The next thing he was aware of was something tearing into his left leg. Damn, he thought to himself. Not kill shots, but shots to incapacitate. Oh hell no! No way was he going to make it easy for them. With that, he pulled his gun out and fired off some shots of him own before going to find cover even as Adam told him to do so and to take out as many as he could since they were hostiles. "Roger that," he responded. Yeah, if I can stop the damn blood trail, he thought to himself even as he scrambled---well, hobbled was more like it---in opposite direction, trying to put distance between him and Ruzek so that whoever firing on them would have to split up. At least...that was his hope. He had no idea if it would actually work.
When Ruzek started shouting at him again, asking him he had him and could hear him, telling him that he was headed in his direction if he could cover him. "Roger that," he replied, firing again. When the other man finally got to him, his eyes flickered to the bleeding shoulder, listening as the major told him that there were seven in total, adding that two were incapacitated while two were headed for the control room, asking where the others had gone and saying that they couldn't let the remaining ones get too far and that they would have to give chase. "Then I'm not going to be any good to you," he stated, shifting his weight to his right leg. "Go. Don't let me slow you down," he urged. He could find something to wrap the leg with here and relay to anyone else what Major Ruzek had just told him. He wasn't going to be the one who got him killed because he was too incapacitated to give him adequate backup.

07:55 Chopper wreck site As Chloe looked around at the occupants of the helicopter, most of which were injured in some way, she had to fight the overwhelming urge to cry. She felt like this was all on her, but she figured she’d have plenty of time to feel guilty later. That was if they ever figured out a way to get out of this. She turned to Steve, “I hate to ask this, but it seems like our pilot is missing… Are you ok to fly? Do you think you could get us back to base?” Steve nodded, “I’m fine to fly, you just give me the word and we’ll be out of here.” Chloe smiled a bit thankful that at least something was going to work out today. Just then all of their radios crackled to life and they heard something about a Lance Corporal Vinigan who had been on Steve’s downed chopper and that he would be heading in their direction from 235 degrees. Chloe looked to Steve to confirm this bit of information but he frowned, “Chloe, I mean Lieutenant, I’m sorry I’m not real good with names, but we did have some guys from Force Recon with us, if I saw him I would be able to let you know.” Chloe nodded at Steve, you just get this thing ready to go you can identify him when he gets here. Picking up her radio to reply, she looked off in the direction he claimed to be coming from. “Vinigan, this is Lieutenant Nunn and I copy your traffic. Keep low as you come in, looks like there may still be some hostiles in that direction we will cover you. The chopper will be firing up so that we can leave as soon as you join us. We can’t afford to stay much longer. You copy?” Chloe turned to the other occupants of the helicopter and directed them, “Hold your fire until we can identify Vinigan, once we determine which one is him, cover him… but until Steve can identify him for sure we still consider him a possible enemy so don’t let your guard down. Last thing we need is to let one of them onto our bird.” Tag: Col. Stephanie Huntley, reagan, Sp. Agt. Mark Wilson, Sgt. Jay Halstead, Gy Sgt. Julien Foxwell, @noel, @vinigan

07:55 Chopper Wreck Site
He had dropped at his secondary location which was decent cover as his radio came to life with a response, and he breathed out in relief, this meant he was one step closer to safety, he listened closely. As he could hear on the lieutenant that they were close to leaving he was even happier that he was able to get a hold of them so he could get back, if he hadn't it would have been a major problem even if the base wasn't that far away but it would be risky with this many enemies crawling around.
"Solid copy, moving, out" his radio comms were short and too the point, he didn't feel like having too much small-talk it would be too much time and now was time to be out. He got to his feet and moved the rest of the way towards the chopper and as soon as he could see the helicopter he yelled out "Friendly coming in! Friendly!" he quickly approached the chopper, correcting his helmet before he entered "Glad to see you guys, and glad to see you are fine, sir" he said to the pilot from the helicopter he had originally been on as soon as he saw him.
He knew he was fine himself even if he might not look like it, other than a bleeding scratch under his helmet he was fine, even if his jacket had dried blood on the sleeves and body armour and some dried blood on his pants. He quickly started checking his ammunition before unholstering his pistol ready to defend himself from any enemy while they were leaving

Osan Airbase, South Korea 0750 Control Room
James took the radio from her "Except the threat we have just landed. No one accounted for the breech by hostiles." Hearing over the radio that they were taking fire he had to admit his stomach churned, this was not good "Someone make contact with Ruzek and Halstead." James gritted his teeth and nodded “Copy” Oh he was not happy in the slightest! This was not going to slide easily.
As he heard her say something under her breath he looked sideways at her before he too could hear something "We have company coming." James nodded clipping the radio to his belt he reached for his sidearm and took position just beside Steph but further back, staying low he prepared his sidearm and watched for shadows, an automatic action - he didn’t flinch though he wanted to, his muscles tensed and he tried not to loose his focus.
His gut was churning inside out and his mind was switching between concern for Steph, concern for the situation now upon them and the personnel taking fire.

Osan Airbase, South Korea 0755 Flight line
"Go. Don't let me slow you down,"
Julien inwardly grimaced, now their numbers were down even further. Two against five. Not favorable, but still doable. He checked the Sergeant over once before making sure - moreso for himself - that the bleeding was stemmed enough before moving out.
"Major, I'm going to push up and attempt to flank the enemies. Two are heading for the control room, I presume the others would be able to take care of them."
With five enemies running amok, Julien wasted little time in moving up. His rifle was shouldered as he intentionally slammed himself into the wall at a controlled pace. He peered around, the route was clear - for now. His heart beat rapidly in his chest as the adrenaline began kicking in, he could feel his hands tremble slightly but he did not allow it to overcome him as he took several deep breaths.
At a brisk pace, Julien began making his way down. If anything, they would attempt to sabotage their aircraft, making them incapable of movement. Or even steal them.
"Foxwell we are proceeding to the control room as planned. I'm not leaving Halstead out here wounded to fend for himself. I will get him to the control room and hopefully bring some more back up out with me. I'll make contact as soon as I head your direction."
There certainly were safety in numbers, but they couldn't afford to waste time. His eyes scanned around him as he slowed his pace, ears listening for any such movement upon the tarmac. "Good copy, Foxwell out." From the corner of his eye, he caught movement. Julien crept forward, using anything solid as cover.
"Shit," He muttered, before pressing to talk on the comms. "One's just planting some sort of IED by one of the jets, not sure whether the other's have done the same." His mind continued to think of the possibilities of what they wanted with the airbase, whether it was to claim it for their own - in which would require more than seven hostiles or to simply disable them on some sort of suicide mission. Julien unholstered his pistol - M1911 as he crept towards the first hostile.
He had timed it wrong.
Julien could see it pan out in slow motion as the man turned around to leave, the shock that crept into the other's eyes but Julien acted upon instinct - pistol raised and two shots rang out.
The first shot had been his, having hit the man in the right side.
The second had been the man's, having grazed the left side of his head.
He knew that things could have gone a lot more smoothly, but, the mental kicking would have to come later. Julien approached the device, a wire still hanging from it - the man had been interrupted.
"One hostile is down. IED is only partially connected. How should I proceed?" Julien relayed to the others, as he felt the graze with a wince. Blood covered his left glove, he wiped it in the dirt before taking a knee and scanning the grounds. It seemed quiet, but he could not take it as a good sign.

Great, just great. Halstead was injured and was telling them to go and leave him behind. Adam was hesitant to just leave a man to fend for himself and took a few minutes to check on Jay's leg for himself. He handed Jay a rag that he found with instructions to apply pressure to the wound "I'm not leaving you out here alone, If they came back and found you they would pin you down and take you out." Adam noticed that the marine had taken off on his own and grumbled something under his breath. "And now the marine has taken off on his own... great don't people understand that there is safety in numbers anymore these days." He sighed trying to wrap his head around what they needed to do. "Ok Jay, the marine has taken off to somewhere... You and I are going to follow the others to the control room. If they ambush them in there, they've got nowhere to go and will need some help." Adam keyed up his radio hoping that his irritation wouldn't show in his voice, "Foxwell we are proceeding to the control room as planned. I'm not leaving Halstead out here wounded to fend for himself. I will get him to the control room and hopefully bring some more back up out with me. I'll make contact as soon as I head your direction." Things would have been so much easier if everyone had just stuck together. Keying up his radio again "This is Ruzek, Halstead and I are inbound to the control room. Jay needs some medical attention and I can't just leave him out here. We can regroup and coordinate our efforts from there." This was actually a time when being left handed came in handy, he could help support Jay on his left side and still have his shooting arm free to fire at the enemy. "Jay, you're still good to shoot right? Let me help you over here and we can make our way to the control room, and don't even think about arguing with me... I'm not leaving you behind, we can do this." Col. Stephanie Huntley, reagan, @vinigan, Sp. Agt. Mark Wilson, Gy Sgt. Julien Foxwell, Sgt. Jay Halstead, @noel

Osan Airbase, South Korea 0750 Control Room Mark nodded to Stephanie as she spoke about the threat that they had just landing, oh just peachy. Why had he left the Navy he wondered going over that choice for a second, NCIS was great and the JTF too but where was the marshmallow monster and the gummy bear king? What happened to the bad guys that were just too cute to be bad these days. It really was just one thing after another when he heard the radio say they were taking fire, he half wanted to go out and join them to make sure that they were safe but then again when Stephanie spoke about the company they had. Oh great, let’s invite the mad hatters to the tea party too he thought as he rolled his eyes. Who had let what land and why he thought but then if he was alive to yell at anyone he would do he thought. Mark reached for his radio and silenced it for a moment as he took up a position on the other side of Stephanie far enough away to give her space as he crouched down checking the clip of his gun as silently as possible. Right now he wanted to be back at home with his wife and children enjoying a game of twister or running around after a child that had far more energy than he had. Instead there were people creeping around and someone had let them land or in or wherever they were going it wasn’t going to be good. He rolled his shoulder slightly, relaxing into his crouch. It wasn’t perfect but the more relaxed he was the easier it was to move without pulling anything important he thought listening to the silence as he hoped that the others were going to be okay. That was something else he didnt want to be part of, explaining or seeing the aftermath of what happened when people didnt get the welcome home they wanted. tag: Col. Osan Airbase 0755 Control Room Somewhere between trying to set things up things became fuzzy for her. One minute things were going according to plan and the next all hell was breaking loose. Gunfire erupted and her focus had to be on that. It wasn't that her concern wasn't for others in the room because it always was when it came to her team. She just knew that actively not doing her job is what got people killed. The piercing scream she would never forget as an enemy bullet went whizzing towards James. Focus Stephanie, Focus She fired strategically taking a head shot on one of the insurgents. There was no remorse. Stephanie was in her feel nothing mode. Their position was already given up so all she could do was take command of what was going on. One thing no commanding officer liked to have to do was promote in the middle of battle, but she knew James injury would take him out of command. She'd get over there to assess things when she could, she was on the opposite side of the room. "Lt. Col Ruzek report." She knew Mark had his hands full with the other insurgent but she didn't have a shot. Not without risking giving up Marks location. Grabbing her handgun she simply tried to draw fire away from Wilson. Right now it was a release of everything she was swallowing. Stephanie found herself making sure Mark would go home when they finished. She took out the other insurgent when he finally turned into a position she could take him down. Grabbing more ammunition she reloaded as she tried not to focus on what she knew was going to hit her like a brick wall. Choking on her words she managed to speak. Locking down the computer system she knew they had to leave the room but leaving it open to let the others get information wasn't an option. "Let's find the others." She told Mark. Then she heard that Halstead had been shot. She let out a curse. Oh, and on top of that coffee boy had gone wandering off. That was spectacular. Sarcasm noted. "Ruzek. How many landed?" So help him if he lied to her. Then there was something about a partially connected IED. This was so not her area of expertise. "Only disconnect it if you have the training, either way evacuate the surrounding area." Stephanie was on a silent warpath. Right now, the team was her responsibility. Dammit, they were going to make it home. "Get medics in here. Yesterday."RadioGeneral SpeechTag: @adamruzek, @vinigan, Gy Sgt. Julien Foxwell, Sgt. Jay Halstead, @chloenunn, Sp. Agt. Mark Wilson

0800 Chopper Wreck Site After Vinigan had climbed on board and identified himself, Steve nodded to him and to Chloe to indicate the man was indeed who is was claiming to be. Chloe let out a breath she hadn't realized that she had been holding and turned to Steve "Get us out of here." Just as the last word left her mouth she was grabbed from behind and felt the unmistakable feeling of a weapon being held to her head. "Wrong lady, the only ones getting out of here will be me and my crew. You and your little crew are going to lay your weapons down and get off this helicopter and keep some of my friends company." Chloe tried to see who was holding her but he was holding her too tight to allow for much movement. Just then the missing pilot hopped on the helicopter and started collecting weapons and shooing the others out of the helicopter where there were several other armed men waiting for them. Chloe looked at the pilot. "Look some of my crew is injured and need medical attention..."
The pilot cut her off, "I'm going to stop you right there, because I don't care about you or your crew. I need this helicopter to get my men onto that base. We are leaving all of you here, you're a medic right? Fix them. What more medical attention could they need?" The pilot tossed both medical bags out of the chopper. "Look I'm even nice enough to leave you supplies to work with, now give me your weapon and get off the helicopter."
Chloe reluctantly handed over her weapon and was abruptly shoved off of the chopper, she ended up landing on her butt on the ground where she found yet another man with a gun pointed at her. "As much fun as all this has been, none of us have weapons anymore... do you think you could ease up on shoving yours in our faces?" Her comment ended up getting her smacked across the face. She felt the sting and tasted blood in her mouth. If she could just get to her bag, she had a back up weapon stored in there and was hoping that maybe a few of the others also had back up weapons in their possession somewhere. "Look lady you don't give orders around here anymore... I do. Now get up and tell someone to pick up those bags, you all are coming with us."
Chloe nodded and stood up, dusting herself off before picking up her own bag. "Can someone else get that other bag for me, apparently we are taking a detour on our way back to base." She looked over everyone to make sure that they still appeared relatively unharmed and sighed, this was not at all how today was supposed to go. Tag: Col. Stephanie Huntley , @vinigan , Gy Sgt. 0755 On the move -> Control Room When Adam heard the Colonel address him as Lieutenant Colonel he was caught a bit off guard, but knowing that it could only mean one thing. He sighed and keyed up his radio. "This is Ruzek... I copy. Halstead and I have just entered the hallway headed towards the control room."
As Adam started to process things, the worse he felt... this was his fault. All of this was on him, maybe if he hadn't let that chopper land... or if he had been more diligent in checking them out, surely there had to have been something he could have done to prevent any of this from even happening. Now he had let seven enemies on base, true they had taken two out fairly quickly but another two had headed straight towards the control room as if they already knew their way around base. Their unit was under fire, and at this point who knew what was going on with the helicopter crew that they had sent out. Jay had been shot in the leg, and Foxwell was playing with IED's. Could today get any better? Hey keyed up his radio to answer, "Seven landed on the chopper, we took out two. Two headed in your direction, and the other three took off towards the airplanes but were joined by two more men from somewhere. The base had already been compromised at some point, so there's no telling how many of them are already here. We are almost at the control room. We should regroup and figure out how we're going to handle this. Has anyone heard anything from the chopper crew lately? If they head back that would give us a few extra hands, otherwise I have a feeling we are outnumbered by quite a few."
As they reached the control room door Adam called out. "It's Ruzek and Halstead... is it safe to enter?"

Crouched down Mark was still trying to reason in his head why he wasnt at home watching the Smurfs or trying to figure out several reasons that being part of JTF was a good idea right now. Out numbered, out gunned, who was even out there on their side he wondered though that was all secondary the minute that the gunfire erupted. His mind was flipped from blue people in white hats to crazy people with guns who might as well have been Smurfs for all he knew as he ducked hearing the ping of bullets being fired in the room. Their position was somewhere between knackered and cornered which were two things he didnt like to be. James was hurt, Stephanie was taking her guy out which left him and this crazy cat that had more bullets than he had time for. He kept his head low as he moved quickly to the floor, one shot to the foot and he saw the guy fall to the floor before raising his gun again and with two shots it was over. He was thankful to Stephanie for not giving his location away given that he hadn’t any idea how many more were going to be heading their way. Reloading his gun quickly Mark glanced over toward Stephanie, “Thanks.” He said knowing that it couldnt be easy for her given what had gone on. “On your six Colonel. You okay?” Mark asked hearing her curse as he made sure to keep his eyes open for any other dangers. Sure engineering had its moments of being drama filled but with NCIS he had been shot at more than any time he had served with the navy. Even in a war zone. Mark heard Stephanie give out the orders and before long he heard one of the Ruzek and Halstead duo calling out. “Safe for now.” Mark called back still making sure he gun was aimed at the door just in case, just because the voice said a name didnt mean the name or the voice matched. Last thing he wanted was to make a mistake like that he thought as he tried to figure out what was next. So many unknowns he thought as he took a moment to glance over the schematics he had for the base to best find a way to work in there. Tag: Col. Stephanie Huntley, @adamruzek, @vinigan, Gy Sgt.
