Erin was soon under the effects of the medication they had given her. Once the EMT had her intubated he set her up so she could breathe easier. Laying down on the stretcher he knew was killer. Kelly was on the phone but that didn't mean the medic was missing a beat as he relayed information over the radio to the waiting chopper. "Thirty one year old female. Respiratory Distress, Smoke inhalation and fluid on her lungs. Blood Pressure and Pulse Stable. We've intubated to keep her airway open." he explained. "10-4 Medic 53, Angel Flight ready" The radio crackled in the background. Erin felt her body relaxing but helicopters were not exactly her favorite past time. Though she had Kelly right there and she knew he wasn't leaving her side. No, he wouldn't do that. She had calmed down under the familiar nickname. It had reminded her just how long they'd had each other there no matter what. Maybe they took their time but the last thing she had wanted to screw up was a friendship. She just played with his hand. She knew he was on the phone with her dad. She just hoped this wouldn't put Kelly on Hank's bad side. She wanted to say something, but she couldn't. Tag: Lt. Kelly Severide, Sgt. Hank Voight

Kelly forced himself to tune out the medic's information on Erin as he waited for Hank to pick up and then internally winced when he heard the tone of voice at the greeting as well as the use of . Crap, he thought to himself even as the other man toned down his bark, greeting him as "Kelly". "Hey, sorry to interrupt at work, but I didn't want you hearing this on the news," he started. Please don't let him kill me for this, he thought to himself. Not that there was much danger of that seeing as how the guy was in Chicago, but Hank Voight was the guy that he never wanted to let down. "Erin's on her way to the hospital. Someone torched her house. She's okay, but she's got smoke inhalation," he told him. Yeah, this was not going to be pretty. He had a feeling that Hank was going to go into one of his tirades. Not that he'd be able to blame him. And no, he had never been afraid of the man, as he was just all rage and bluster unless you were a perp. Around family, he was different, no matter what people thought. The fact remained though that the older man had trusted him to look out for Erin and he had failed to do so.
He then followed the paramedic's gaze and frowned. Where the hell is that chopper? he wondered. Hell, he could carry her faster than this. Okay, he couldn't think like that. He was just worried about Erin, which was making him irritable. And he'd have to make sure that didn't translate into the call. Speaking of which, Hank probably needed more information that he had just gotten. "I'm in the ambo with her. We're waiting on a chopper," he told him. It just needs to show the hell up, he thought to himself. Where was it? They shouldn't be wasting time like this...

Hank listened to Kelly, it wasn’t a social call as soon as he heard the words ‘didnt want you hearing this on the news’. So it was bad, very bad for it to make the news. He forced himself to stay quiet and not bite the man’s head off before he knew the facts. That wouldnt get him anywhere at all, he simply stayed silent hearing that Erin was going to the hospital, he could feel his chest tighten with ever word spoken. His girl was hurt and then that was it. Silence was one thing when he knew what was going on but another when he didnt have a clue. “Smoke inhalation, what happened? Who did it? Who’s looking into it.” He barked down the phone as he stood up from his desk and grabbed his things. “Severide, how bad is it and dont think about lying.” He asked not that the guy would but Hank wanted to know what was going on with Erin. A hospital for smoke inhalation had to be bad but then again Erin getting a scratch was enough to send him off the deep end. No one hurt his girl ever. Hank trusted Kelly and when it came to fire the man knew his stuff but if anyone tried to hurt Erin or Kelly then they were as good as dust to him. “Severide you make sure she’s alright, promise me you’ll look after her.” He said hearing about them waiting on a chopper. A medical flight, no that was worse than bad and he was stuck in Chicago as he left the office not even barking orders as he went. No he could do that from the car. “Kelly I’m on my way, just keep her safe.” He said going from a calm chat to pure terror that he wasn’t there when his family needed him to be. Erin was hurt and Kelly, how was he? The thought hadn’t crossed his mind at all until that moment. “Kelly, you okay?” He asked genuinely concerned for the guy. Hank wasn’t with Erin but Kelly was, he couldnt help Erin but he could try help the guy she loved. He trusted the man so really it was only fair to make sure he was alright too. Tag: Lt. Erin went out of consciousness as she was transferred to the chopper. It was probably better, letting her body relax to get better oxygen flow. The medic got everything set and the chopper took off while Kelly was wondering where it was. Chopper flights were not super fast to load but it was still faster than the long ambulance ride. Erin hated helicopters, it was probably a good thing too that she wasn't awake enough to realize that the chopper was no longer on the ground. The flight medics took over and they were on their way to the helicopter. "ETA 9 minutes" he called out. They were airborne and there was no way that if Erin woke up and realized they were flying that panic wouldn't set in. Though she wasn't in much state to realize what was going on as her eyes blinked open. The voice yelling it belonged to her dad? No her dad wasn't here? A look of recognition crossed her face. For now she was oblivious to the chopper. Tag: Lt. Kelly Severide, Sgt. Hank VoightOoc: Sorry so short but I'm just sticking with things until we get to the hospital

Kelly listened as Hank barked out the questions. "Someone torched her place with her in it. I don't know who did it, and the local PD's handling it," he replied. Not that they'll find much. The place is gone. Just glad I got Camille's jewelry box and the photo album out first, he thought to himself. In fact, he had taken the liberty of getting out all of Erin's favorite things and moving them into his apartment. She was probably going to be pissed when she saw it, but at least she hadn't lost anything that held precious memories for her. When he asked him how bad it was, telling him not to lie to him, he sighed. "Her voice was pretty raspy. More than normal. I'll know more at the hospital," he replied. Wouldn't lie to him. How could he think that? he thought to himself. Then again, he was just worried about his daughter. That's all he meant.
Even though he couldn't see him, Kelly nodded when Hank told him to make sure that Erin was okay and to look after her, to keep her safe, and that he was on the way. "I will," he promised, not even objecting to his statement. Erin would want him with her, and he knew that the older man wouldn't rest until he knew for sure that his daughter was okay. Hell, he had seen it enough times back in Chicago.
He then blinked in surprise at the question of whether or not he was okay. "Yeah, yeah, I'm okay. I wasn't in the fire. My house got the call and we responded," he replied. Just wish we had gotten there sooner to save the house, he thought to himself. He then gave himself a mental shake as the chopper got there. "Chopper's here. Gotta go," he said and headed for the chopper, only to be stopped by one of the medics. "Sorry, Sir. You can't go in there," he stated. Like hell I can't," he snapped. "I know her medical history and unless you want to look like an idiot in that hospital room, you'll back off." Surprised, the medic let him go and Kelly got in the back of the chopper, close enough that Erin could still see him, but far away enough that he wasn't in the medics way if they had to work on her during the flight.
His eyes then flickered as he listened to the medics talking. That sounds so bad, he thought to himself. Okay, there was no need to worry. The medics had this. And the doctors would be able to take care of her. He just had to trust that.

It took everything for him not to fall back into his seat when he listened to Kelly explain what was going on. Who would be that stupid he thought but then against it wasn’t Chicago, everyone knew in that city what would happen if anyone touched his family but unfortunately he hadn’t spread his brand USA wide just yet though Tierney was about to get a first hand taste of that. “I’ll get with the local PD and find out what’s going on.” He said knowing he would make as much fuss as possible to be included in the case. Hank tried not to say another word when Kelly explained about her voice being raspier than usual. Hank was about ready to skip every single stage of from bad to worse and go straight for the worst of the worst. This was his family, no one did that to his girl and he wasn’t even there to protect her from that. The only solace he could find was Kelly promising to keep Erin safe, the man had done that much already with getting her out of the fire but until Hank could lay eyes on the two of them. Two sets of eyes was better than one. “Glad you got the call.” Hank said as he heard Kelly say the chopper was there. Hank made his way to his car and just started to drive. It would take him a while but then it didnt matter how long it took to get to her, there was no way he was going to let the situation be knowing what he knew. Hank was protective, who could blame him though it was the worst part about living as far away was the drive if something went wrong. He only stopped home for a few minutes to shove some things into a bag and grab a couple of things from the safe. Money and his off duty weapon. Not that he was going to stay silent about the cop part, no that wasn’t going to happen because he wanted to find the guy who hurt Erin. That was priority number two, the first thing was to find Erin and Kelly and make sure the two of them were alright and safe. Family came first no matter what was going on in life and if he couldnt be there right that second he was at least on his way there in the fastest way he could be. Tag: Det. Erin Voight, Lt. Erin wasn't sure what had happened over the last few hours. But she wasn't awake in ICU. The ventilator had been helping her breathe the last few hours. She had been asleep from the drugs. The nurse came to check on her. She was also showing Hank which room she was in. "No more than two of you. I am already making an exception." No one was really sure how that went down except Hank and the nurse. The nurse went to check on her breathing. "When her tests come back again; we want to take her off the machine, let her just have the Oxygen." She took a peek at her chart. "She's through the worst of it, physically speaking but Trauma like this..." she trailed off as she had probably said too much for her own good but was it to wrong to let the guys know? Erin started stirring waking up she blinked her eyes and looked around the room. All the machines and everything she felt like she was in some scifi movie. She rolled over seeing a piece of paper and pencil by the bed she started scribbling. Writing the guy's name who had did this on the piece of paper she showed it to them. It read I know who did this. Though she wasn't going to offer up more information than that right now. But I don't remember what happened her cop instincts were to find who did this. "The doctor will be in shortly" the nurse responded as she left. Erin didn't want any of it. She just wanted to go... right her apartment had been torched. Far from her mind was where she was going to stay. Though she had a feeling that one of the guys was going to put their foot down about not finding her own place again. They had seen how well that worked this time around. Yeah well no way in hell was she bringing that up. Nope. Not going to touch that conversation. Tag: Lt. Kelly Severide, Sgt. Kelly's eyes flickered as the nurse stated that there couldn't be more than two of them in the room, saying that she was already making an exception. "And it's appreciated. Thank you," he said, his eyes flickering as the nurse went on to say that when the tests came back, she wanted to take Erin off the machines and to let her just have the oxygen, assuring them that physically, the detective was past the worse but there was no telling with the trauma she had gone through. "I understand. Thank you," he responded and then let out a sigh. He wasn't sure what to think. He was a mess. He could admit this. Erin meant more to him than anyone else. And she had been hurt because he hadn't been fast enough. Okay, logically, he knew that the only person at fault here was the arsonist, but that didn't mean that he wouldn't still beat himself up, because he would. He had almost lost her, and to be honest, he wasn't sure if he would be able to come back from that. Not that he had to worry about that, thankfully. Come on, he thought to himself. Yes, he was nervous. He could admit this.
His reverie was broken when he saw Erin start to stir. "Hey," he greeted as she grabbed a piece of paper and wrote something down. The firefighter's eyes flickered again as he read the words before handing the note to Voight. "Who? Who did this?" he asked, trying not to sound harsh. He was well aware that he often came across as angry when he was worried and he wanted to avoid that, especially since she had just woken up in a hospital, something that she wasn't too fond of. Come to think of it, he wasn't all that keen on waking up in hospitals either. Then again, who was?
When the nurse told that the doctor would be with them shortly, he nodded at her. "Thank you," he said again. As soon as I get the okay, I'm taking her to my place and ordering her favorite takeout, he thought to himself. Yes, he was fully preparing to pamper her and make sure she was taken care of. Granted, he'd probably have to make sure that he didn't over do it as she hated that sort of thing, but he didn't care.
OOC Sorry this took so long. I fail, obviously.

Hank was following the nurse still half in a daze that this was actually happening. It wasn’t that the proof wasn’t there before his eyes but not Erin, not his family. He nodded at the nurse who said she was already making an exception. “Thanks.” He said knowing that if one of them had tried to keep him from Erin’s room there would have been a big issue there. Hank just stood there and listened as the nurse spoke about taking her off the machine, it wasn’t until Kelly spoke that he nodded though he wasn’t too sure why. It was tough enough without wondering what if she didnt get off the machine, what if this was a similar situation as before. “Thanks Kelly.” He said to the man that had just saved his daughter’s life. There was no getting past that for him as he would make made sure if there had been any other outcome that he would make whatever had happened felt by everyone responsible. He was half wanting to break through the town just as he would do Chicago but this place he wasn’t even a cop in. The last thing he needed was to be on the wrong side of the law when all he wanted was for Erin to wake up. To hear her voice again as he knew the minute he did and things went back to normal he would make his ten thousand calls a day just to make sure she was alright. Seeing her stir Hank let out a breath he hadn’t known he was holding as he watched Kelly greet her and then he took the piece of paper Kelly handed to him. He read it carefully as he pulled out his phone and searched the name to get a face. “We’ll get the guy who did this, dont worry about that.” Hank grumbled as he pulled up the guy’s face on his phone. He showed it to Kelly first before he showed the screen to Erin. “This the guy?” He asked knowing that there would be no stopping him once he got into finding the guy who had tried to kill her. It wasn’t just that Erin was family and so was Kelly, the two of them being hurt no there wasn’t a rock he wouldnt look under to find out who it was and to stop them by any means. Border lines were just that lines in the sand and the minute this guy tried to hurt Erin there were no lines to not cross anymore. Tag: Det. Erin Voight, Lt. Kelly Severide

Somewhere between Kelly asking who was responsible and seeing a face she recognized on the screen she had given up the guy's name. Erin could hear the worry in Kelly's voice. She still didn't know what all had happened. All she knew was that she'd seen a face been able to put a name to it, and woken up here unable to talk. The tube down her throat forcing oxygen into her lungs she felt like gagging on it. Everything was spinning around. Wait her dad was here too? She heard his voice it made little sense. Everything to her was discombobulated. Right now she was trying to put all the pieces into place. One limb at a time she tried to move them. Slowly because she rationalized the fact she was in a hospital bed. Her eyes flashed with panic. Right her dad wanted an answer still. The face. Scribbling again on the piece of paper she wrote again. No, that's his brother? She then put a bunch of question marks. He must have lied. That's not him. She wasn't much help. Erin knew that much. Reaching slowly for her painkiller she ended up just knocking the button onto the floor. Her coordination was terrible, even her handwriting showed that. Everything had been slow and messy. Almost like a child trying to grasp at a pencil their kindergarten year. Ow That followed by the pen dropping. The nurses came back in and checked on her breathing. Taking her off the machine the woman hooked her up to an oxygen supply that sat on under her nose. Taking her vitals and other information there was going to be a lot of in and out of the room. Erin's throat felt dry, she swallowed the lump in her throat. Tears streamed down her face. Erin didn't know what to think right now. Two people who she felt comfortable enough to cry in front of but hated to do so, lest they tear up the city. "We are going to keep her for a few days." Erin shook her head no. She didn't really want to be here. "You came in by helicopter. This is ICU. You get no choice." The nurse chided. If Erin's looks could kill, the nurse would be keeling over and need ICU herself. Erin looked between Hank and Kelly. "ICU?" she went into a coughing fit as she tried to talk, but soon settled into a raspy dry tone. "What happened?" Well, she hadn't been shot. She sniffed the air. The smell of gasoline igniting her back through parts of the fire. "OFI. He works for OFI. Said if I talked he was going to kill me and ruin Kelly's career. Then he changed his mind and said he didn't want to risk it. Something about me not supposed to home." She was struggling to talk but her breathing was still okay. Tierney police knocked lightly on the door. "Hey. Erin." One of the detectives came into the room and saw Hank and Kelly. "Still jumping sides to the Fire Dpt. I see. I'm not here to start poking around. Sarge wanted me to give you this." He handed her a fire box. "I figured it might be important." Erin nodded her thanks but stopped talking about the case. Flipping through the box she realized it was the box with all her legal documents. Setting it aside she laid back down, she still felt so dizzy. Shivering a bit she heard her teeth chattering slightly. Tag: Lt. Kelly Severide, Sgt. Hank Voight

Kelly didn't like this. He had a bad feeling. The Same type of feeling he got when his mom had been having one of her bad days. Okay, he had to focus. He couldn't afford to get distracted. He glanced at Voight as he started searching something on his phone. Probably trying to get a facial match or something, he thought to himself. Not that he knew for sure. He was a firefighter, not a cop. And to add to that, he hadn't moved fast enough to get her out of there. Erin had almost died because of him. He had promised to keep her safe and he had nearly broken that promise. Surprised he hasn't chewed me out for it, he thought to himself. After all, he did deserve it. He had gotten careless and as a result, they had nearly lost Erin. No, he wouldn't be surprised if Hank told him to get in the next few minutes.
He then gave himself a mental shake as the nurse explained to Erin where she was and why she there, telling her that she had come by helicopter and had to stay where she was. His eyes then flickered and shone with pain as Hank showed her a picture and she said the guy had stated that he was from OFI and that if she talked, he would kill her and his career, ultimately deciding not to risk things. Oh g-d....this happened because of me. Cause some of the fires weren't making sense. I asked OFI to look into it. She nearly died because of me, he thought to himself. Yeah, he had a feeling that he was going to get kicked out. After all, if he hadn't raised a stink with OFI, Erin would've been fine. As it was, she was in the ICU. Oh g-d, I'm going to be sick, he thought to himself, feeling his face pale.
He then leaned back against the wall, his shoulders slumping. His mom had been right: he did taint everything he touched. If Erin hadn't gotten involved with him, she wouldn't be lying in a hospital bed. No, she'd be out having dinner or something. Why had he thought that he deserved someone as amazing as her? Why hadn't she told him to take a hike? Hell, why hadn't Hank? This was all his fault and he shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Erin.

Hank looked at Erin, he wanted to make it easier on her or to at least make the pain go away as it broke it heart to even see her hurt. He stared at the scribbling on a piece of paper she wrote on, a brother and lied, oh this was getting off to a great start he thought as he watch the nurses work until one said that they would be keeping her for a few days. At least the hospital was the place she needed to be. He wanted to yell at Kelly for not getting her out faster but then he was a cop not a fire fighter, it wasn’t his job and he didnt have the first idea about how to do Kelly’s job as he simply offered the man an apologetic look. He was about as much family as Erin was and any incident with family meant that Hank wasn’t going to stop until the person or people who hurt them were fixed in some way. He reached out to wipe her tears carefully away. Hank nodded to Erin when she gave the death stare to the nurse and then looked to Kelly and himself. “You’re staying, no arguing.” He stated simply knowing he wasn’t about to let her leave without checking with ten doctors first. “There’s been a fire but you’re going to be okay.” Hank said as he looked toward Kelly for a moment. “He saved your life.” Hank knew it wasn’t the first time Kelly had done that, he had a lot to be thankful to Severide for as he listened to Erin talking. Hank was about to start into his ten thousand questions regarding OFI, Kelly and risking what as he turned to see a detective come into the room. To say that Hank was a little suspicious of everyone right about now as an understatement as he watched the detective talk to Erin as he turned his attention to Kelly who he saw slump his shoulders and lean against the wall. To him Kelly looked just as pale as Erin, Hank wasn’t the sort to give out hugs and when he did well yes it was more a rare thing than anything else as he simply chose to place a hand on Kelly’s shoulder. “Thank you.” He said as he took a breath, he needed to do what he knew best and that was be a cop he thought as he went to find a chair for Kelly just in case he thought as he pushed the chair to Kelly’s side before he looked back at the detective and Erin. “Thanks for the box.” He said as he moved back to Erin for a moment to pull her sheet up over her a little. “Where are you on things as they stand?” He asked listening though his attention was mainly focused between Erin and Kelly. He wanted to reach out and hug his daughter but he knew it would likely hurt a lot more than it would help as he tried to figure out whose head he was going to rip off over this. He had no informants here, no people to ask and the police department were they even going to take kindly to him trying to get in on the investigation. Doubtful he thought. Still Erin and Kelly were alive, there wasn’t much more that he could ask from that at all. Tag: Det. Erin Voight, Lt. Kelly Severide

Erin saw Kelly's face pale and her heart rate spiked on the monitor. No, he wasn't allowed to blame himself. Erin felt her heart shatter. Afraid, afraid of what he might say. Afraid he might walk out on her. She swallowed the lump in her throat and tightened her grip on Kelly's hand. She didn't have words for him but the grip on his hand pulsed with the fear of him walking away. "Don't..." she tried for words. "Don't let him win, Kelly." She coughed a bit, the little bit of fluid in her lungs still made it hard to breathe. She was breathing better though and that had to count for something. Erin was trying to come off stronger than she was feeling at the moment. When he leaned against the wall she felt his fingers slip away and she couldn't handle this now. There was a panicked looked on her face as she turned her attention to Hank. Panicked that Kelly was going to do something dreadfully stupid. Her grip moved to her dad, she was scared out of her mind. She'd woken up here. OFI was trying to kill her and Kelly looked like he was about to bolt out the door at any given second. She didn't voice the words, not in front of her dad. She didn't need Hank jumping down Kelly's throat on top of everything. When Hank told her she was staying in the hospital Erin gave in and just nodded. No, she needed to be out of here. She needed to find this guy. "I have to find him." She was going to be persistent. But then she changed her tune to, "don't go." Then when Hank explained everything she cried harder. Kelly wasn't supposed to be there. "No one was supposed to be there." She coughed harder and panic was sending her monitors into a frenzy. Her pulse, blood pressure, and breathing had all set the monitor off. She listened to her dad and the detectives. “We are chasing it up as an arson investigation, but seeing as OFI is involved we've reached out to another department to assist us.” The detective nodded to Kelly, he knew about him. "You must be Sergeant Voight" he stated as he looked back to Hank. "Wish to have met you under better circumstances. I'm Erin's partner, Kevin Atwater." He took a breath. "The profile we have paints this guy as a serial offender. We are pulling old case files." When Erin heard Kevin's voice she started talking as she tried to calm down. "Gasoline. Look into cases where gasoline was the accelerant. Something he said... something about I'd perish the way the others did. His accent it was.. foreign." Erin was making connections and trying to put her mind to use. It was all she could do to keep herself centered right now. She could still smell the fumes, she wasn't sure she would ever get the smell out of her hair. She'd refused to let go of Hank. "Kevin.. you get this son of a bitch." Great now she was sounding like her dad on top of it all. "Knoxville OFI and Tierney PD could use a few extra hands." He looked between Kelly and Hank. "I want whoever did this too." He wrote down what Erin said but he didn't push her for answers, he'd learned from experience if Erin didn't want to talk, it was just a very bad idea to push it. Tag: Lt. Kelly Severide, Sgt. Kelly's eyes flickered as he listened to Hank explaining to Erin what had happened, saying that he had saved her. "Department saved her," he corrected. My fault. This was a message for me. Cause I went to OFI, he thought to himself. What had he been thinking? Oh right: that he couldn't let an arsonist run around loose. It wasn't in his nature. But Erin had gotten caught in the crossfire. What was he supposed to do?
He then turned Erin as she said not to let the guy win. "I did this. Cause I went to OFI. Everyone knows how important you are to me, and what better message to send me? I put you in danger. This is on me," he reminded her. Can't believe I put her in danger like this. What was I thinking? he wondered. Damn, he had screwed up so badly.
When she said that she had to find the guy, telling him not to go, and that no one was supposed to be at the location, he blew out a breath, his body tensing when he saw the monitors spike. "Hey, hey, hey. You're okay, okay. It's okay," he assured, going to take her hand. He needed to get her calmed down. Her getting worked up like this wouldn't help her heal any. But who could blame her for being worked up? She had nearly been killed.
He then fell silent as she encouraged her partner to look into cases where gasoline had been used as an accelerante, stating that the man had said that she'd die like others had, noting that the accent had been foreign. I did this. Me. She lost her home because of me, he thought to himself. Damn. People were right: he was bad news. What had he been thinking? Why hadn't he just left it alone? Right. Because that wasn't his way. He would get to the bottom of anything in any way possible. But still....he should've been more careful, especially with Voight's daughter. Surprised he hasn't kicked me out, he thought to himself. But that would probably change now...

Hank shook his head at the ‘department saved her’ thing, no he didnt trust the fire department he trusted Kelly Severide. “Department helped but you saved her, I trust you not them to look after my daughter.” He stated though he knew it had to be tough on him. It was always easy to look back in hindsight but doing the right thing didnt always come with the ‘keep the family safe’ badge as well. Lines could always be crossed he was just glad that they were both alive though he figured whoever this guy was wouldnt be breathing for much longer if he got his hands on him. Chicago or not, Hank was still the same Hank no matter what the state. Erin had his attention, her breathing, the monitors going off it broke his heart to see her like that. To think that someone had hurt her like this, she was alive and that was consolation enough for him because the other option just didnt bear thinking about. Had he lost her the city wouldnt be standing and no one would have been able to stop him, the one rule he had was that no one got away with hurting his family and that rule had been broken the minute Erin was hurt and Kelly was upset. Hank glanced at Erin’s partner for a moment, “I wish that too but the best thing you could do is tell me you have this guy.” He stated deciding to leave off the ‘head on a stick’ ‘won’t make it to court’ comments that circled in his mind like an angry dog. Listening to Erin talk about gasoline the smell was something that caught at his throat. He hadn’t ever considered the two together mostly and certainly not where Erin was concerned. Hank kept a hold on her hand not wanting to let her go at all, all he could do was stand there and hope that this would turn out right. "You'll be fine just rest." He said not wanting to stress her out too much. Kicking Kelly out, well for one he knew Erin wouldnt take it well at all but he knew a cop they all had those cases that followed them home. Either in the form of nightmares, sleepless nights, looking over your shoulder. It was tough to leave things at work or at the door but then there were these cases, the sort where everything came back with you and affected family. How could he be angry with a guy for doing the right thing, when he in turn would have made the same call to follow it to the end no matter what. It wasnt as if he could turn a blind eye to a crime just as Kelly couldnt do to a suspicious fire. It was just their way though he was relieved to know that things had turned out a lot better than they might have done. The minute Erin’s partner mentioned about Tierney PD he nodded, “Yeah I’ll give them a hand if it finds this guy but she isn’t going to be on her own.” Hank stated not wanting to leave Erin but then trusting a case to people he didnt know. Yeah right, like he had ever done that in Chicago so he wasnt about to start that now. Hank looked at Kelly, “Not your fault, could have been anyone of us that attracts the crazy people.” He said knowing it could have been the other way around for Erin and Kelly easily. Tag: Lt.
